What this calculator does
This date calculator adds or subtracts any number of days, weeks, months, or years from a starting date. It's the tool to reach for whenever you need to calculate a future or past date without manually counting on a calendar.
Worked example
Starting from May 10, 2026 and adding 90 days lands onAugust 8, 2026, a Saturday.
Common mistakes
- Treating a month as exactly 30 days. Adding "1 month" and adding "30 days" often produce different results, since real months range from 28 to 31 days.
- Month-end overflow. Adding a month to January 31 lands on the last day of February, not March 3, since February doesn't have 31 days.
- Sign confusion when subtracting. Double-check whether you want to go backward from today or forward — the operation toggle controls the direction.
