This anniversary calculator finds your next anniversary from any recurring date — a wedding, relationship, or other yearly milestone — showing how many full years have passed and the days remaining until you celebrate.
Worked example
An anniversary date of June 20, 2018, checked on September 2, 2026, shows8 years together, with the next anniversary on June 20, 2027.
Common mistakes
- Counting the current year before the date arrives. If this year's anniversary hasn't happened yet, your "years together" count is still last year's number.
- Leap-day anniversaries. A February 29 anniversary is usually observed on February 28 in non-leap years.
- Mixing up the relationship start date and a legal/wedding date. Couples sometimes track both — make sure you're using the one you intend to celebrate.
