What this calculator does
This tool shows a live, second-by-second countdown to your wedding day — a fun way to build excitement in the lead-up, and it keeps counting as an anniversary timer once the day has passed.
Worked example
Setting a wedding date of June 20, 2027 at 4:00 PM shows the live days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining, updating automatically without refreshing the page.
Common mistakes
- Leaving the time blank for a same-day comparison. Without a time, the countdown targets midnight at the very start of the date, not the ceremony time itself.
- Forgetting time zones for destination weddings. Enter the date and time as they'll occur at the venue's local time zone for an accurate countdown, or use the time zone converter to work it out first.
- Closing the tab and expecting reminders. The countdown only runs while the page is open — add the date to your own calendar app if you want a reminder notification too.
